Over 90 Years of Family Service to Michigan

Furniture Shopping Tips
1. A store's REPUTATION for service, quality, and honesty is very important. Know who you are dealing with. The lowest price may be the most costly one in the long run.

2. Give yourself enough time to do it right. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Find out about the construction, what other fabrics may suit your needs better, etc. Be sure the sales person is truly trying to help you solve your decorating problems, not just trying to sell you something.

3. Have room sizes and floor plans with you when asking for assistance. We cannot help you if we don't know what we are working with. This also goes for fitting TV's and other entertainment items into or on top of cabinets.

4. Bring color samples of anything you will want to coordinate with, such as a cabinet door, carpet samples, or arm covers. One should view samples in the same light, together.

5. Get committments for delivery and any other special services IN WRITING on your sales order, so both of you know what was promised. If they won't put it in writing, they probably can't do it.

6. Please YOURSELF first, and try to accomodate others. One can never please everyone with their selection. We can guide you in your decisions. You will be comfortable with your final purchase from us.
Furniture Care Guide
1. Keep furniture out of direct sunlight, as it will dry out and fade if you don't. Avoid heat registers as well.
Reverse your cushions and mattress 3-4 times a year for even wear and much longer life.

2.Clean your furniture on a regular basis. Use a wood cleaner then a good polish, like Guardsman, at least twice a year. Avoid using any products with silicone on wood. Fabrics should be vacuumed monthly to remove dust and soil.

3.Avoid plastic or rubber materials on your wood, as most contain ingredients that will damage your finish.
Lift and place objects rather than dragging them across a furniture surface or carpet.

4.Change your room arrangement so you do not have excessive wear on just a few things and nothing on others.
